 Malteser Slice


280g packet of maltesers, Chopped
400g digestives biscuits
180g butter
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/3 cup golden syrup
1t cocoa powder
180g white chocolate, melted






1. Line the based and sides of a 18x26 (or there abouts) pan with baking paper. Crush half of the maltesers and combine with the biscuits in a large bowl. Set aside.

2. Place butter, caster sugar and golden syrup into a small saucepan and stir over a medium heat until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat, stir in cocoa powder.

3. Pour butter mixture into the biscuit mixture and stir well to combine. Press into prapared pan and spread with melted white chocolate and remaining chopped maltesers. Cover and chill until firm. Cut into slices to serve.
