My weight loss is still chugging along. I've not been able to do as much exercise lately and it's really been making me worry, but due to the fact that I've found this incredibly true...
...I've still been going down slowly. I've also not given up. In the past I've had the thought that if I have a bad meal/day/week that it's all over and I'm back to what I used to be like, but not this time. I had a busy week last week and tonnes of takeaways, but this week, I'm back to it. It also works with exercise, just because I only have 30 minutes it doesn't mean that I shouldn't do a quick work out.
I'm currently down 14.1kg. I'm looking forward to losing the next 900g to get me half-way to this first goal of 30kg. I have beginning photos and plan to take halfway ones, but I won't be sharing them on here. I might do another set of photos for here. :) Trust me, you'll thank the fact that I'm not sharing my personal ones.
Until then.

Things I'm loving...
I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something that you can be thankful for... no matter how simple it is.
1. Loving being married for almost a year! Can't believe it was a whole 12 months ago. I love him more every day (collective 'awww')
2. Love learning to sit up time in the pillow fortress.
3. LOVE these rolls.
4. Loving my juicer and having lost almost 6 kgs in 13 days!
5. Loving organising a baby shower for my best friend. Even if I won't be able to attend :( boo.
Not particularly loving my husband having to go back to work this week :(

"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life, for me....and I'm feeling good"
First of January!
Mr. Man and I have both decided that 2012 will be the year of health for us - and with that comes weight loss. Yes, big cliche of a New Years Resolution here folks, but don't be so pessimistic. You are the ones that will hold me accountable!
For me personally I completely loathe my body at the moment. Poor diet, little exercise and the fact I created a human in the past 12 months has seen me balloon to a weight I'm terribly unhappy with. But there's no excuse to stay that way. Especially when I'm not happy with the way I look or the way I feel, both self esteem and health wise. I feel groggy. I feel sluggish. I waddle. Not cool.
ENTER MOTIVATION!
There are lots of things to motivate me. If all the things in the last paragraph aren't enough I also have the fact the Little Miss and whatever siblings she ends up with would like a mother that can run around with them and will be around for a long time. I would like to be able to fit into clothes from any old where without having to use the plus size section, in fact, I'd like to have a size or two above where I need to buy again (just incase I would like some give in my clothes!). I want to feel good about myself. Period. Oh... and one of the things on my 101 list is to lose 10kg and I'll be damned if I don't complete that list!
The boy and I decided we would start with a body detox (yet another one of my 101 list challenges) so this week we are weaning off bits and pieces - who knew you had to do a detox to get ready for a detox? The clock striking midnight last night saw us swear off sweets and all things naughty and throughout this week we will eliminate other things that we won't be able to have during our 7 days of doom - bread (yes even the good kind), red meat, chicken etc. Yes, yes I know these are good things, they're just not allowed during the 7 days we are detoxing. Thank goodness fish is or I think I'd go fully batty. If you're interested in seeing which detox we are basing ours on you can find it here.
Another little awesome thing that I came across is the 'Reboot your life' website. Found via this blog while trawling pinterest. It's things that we all know really. Just some ideas for getting a kickstart. Now there's NO WAY I'm having only juice for 60 days but I think the 15 day juice + raw fruit and veges seems doable and I like the idea of perhaps doing a juice cleanse every 3 months or so for 5 days. In light of this new motivation we went out this morning and bought a juicer!
And a fancy one at that. Very exciting. Started off very tamely by making a fruit only concoction - yum.
And then moved on to adding in some veges. It's really good for me because I don't eat a lot of veges as I dislike the texture. Had no issues guzzling down the juice with spinach and carrot in it. Yum Yum!
So... am feeling really good today. 15 hours of eating healthy, even did 30 minutes of exercise on the bike this morning. Watch this space... you just know at some point in the near hungry future I will be pulling my hair out, but for now I bask in the haze which is January 1st.

Things I'm loving...
I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something that you can be thankful for... no matter how simple it is.
1. Loving the opportunity to get together with my antenatal group today after we've all had our bubbas - and what a gorgeous bunch we are!
PS: Spot the monster (Little Miss is about 5 weeks older than the next oldest) and spot the opportune predator (bubba again!). Tsk tsk Little Miss!
2. Loving getting through some things in my 101 challenge. You would have seen some of my recipes if you read the blog all the time. I've also been looking for which recipe book I'm going to cook every recipe from and have began to get into my reading again.
Over the last week I've read 4 of my 'ology' books which I collect. Because I collect them I just buy and often don't read when I'm too busy. Am glad to get these four under my belt now. I'm counting all 4 of them as '1' book of my 20 that I need to read for the challenges as they're pretty slight books. Fun times!
3. Loving getting to the movies for a midnight screening this week. I like the Twilight series but I wouldn't call myself a Twihard. I suppose I am enough to go to the movies at that time of night. Lol.
I am an avid subscriber to the 'Books are better than the movies' train of thought and still am but thought this movie was pretty good considering. They capture the story of this novel fairly well. I always like to see how they bring the book to life. LOVE this song from the movie <3
4. Love my little winged princess. Keep a watch for more chalk creations to come!
5. Pink nails!
6. Loving having lost 5.7kg in a month. And to be fair... I haven't had to change much - heaps more fruit and veges mostly. Still wanting to kick it up a notch but phoar! What a good start!
And another think I'm starting..
Photo dump Fridays! Where I get rid of all my photos from my mobile devices each week. Mostly the iPad - god bless you instagram!

PRINTABLES!
As I've become more and more involved in the blogosphere and the pinterestosphere (you heard the phrase coined here first folks!) I find that many of the blogs I enjoy are self helpy type deals where people share tutorials or helpful printables.
Being a teacher I'm quite a dab hand at seeing a need and filling it with some form of paperwork (LOL) and I enjoy making what we call 'resources' to aid our teaching in different curriculum areas.
As a little aside. If you are a teacher reading my blog and you would like to see some teaching resources I have shared with the big ol' wide world you can find some here at one of my websites :) One of the resources tabs will get you to what you're lookin' for.
Map that onto my personal life and the bits and pieces I've seen as I rove around the web and I'm one very motivated little chicken. So I thought I would delve into this myself.
Starting with two printables I whipped up this morning - weight loss printables to help me with my post baby weight loss. I hope someone finds them helpful :) Let me know what you think.
