Day 13: "Your body hears everything your mind says"
Day 13: You opinion about your body and how comfortable you are with it.
I don't think I've ever been happy with my body...although, I now look back at photos of me 10 years ago and think 'man, I was beautiful'. Which leads me to wonder if I'll do the same in another 10 years time even though I hate what I look like now?
There's parts I like about how I look...but overall, I hate it. And I think that's sad. I also think that because I've that I've fostered a 'who gives' attitude towards how I look and then the cycle all starts again.
Why? I'm not sure really. I could rattle off a big list of things that I don't like, but I'm afraid I'd bore you with all the minute details that I loathe. I've always struggled with weight, and I know that's a big one....'I know I'll feel better about myself when I get down to..../will fit into....'. Never happens.
One this I do know is that I don't want to foster this same image of self in my little ones. The variations of the picture below break my heart. I tell Leah she is beautiful everyday, more than once.. hell, more than 20 times usually, and I hope that the repetition means that she'll always know and always see it.

"Good looking people turn me off, myself included".
Day 12: 5 guys I find attractive....
I've done this before here! And really the list hasn't wavered terribly much. Soooo, how about 5 qualities I find attractive in a man? I'll do two lists, one physically, one personality traits etc... Just to make it fair :)
Personality Stuff:
Gotta be funny. This is a must. I can't stand men that take themselves too seriously and, lets be honest...we just wouldn't gel well together if you didn't laugh at my jokes, I'm hilarious!
Gamers. Even if you don't play I can probably get on with you, but you need to be able to put up with the hours of time I put into games... and then listen to me talk about it. Lol.
Intelligent. Nuff said.
Skill wise, if they can play a musical instrument and are good with their hands (handy man stuff girls, not what you're thinking :P) then they're a goer.
Is that 5? Can I also throw in a cheeky 6 if I can't lump those other two together - politeness. Which I know may seem silly but let me explain. I love that quote that's flying around the internet lately that says something like 'Being polite to me but an asshole to a waitress doesn't make you a nice person' sums it up perfectly.
Looks:
Tattoooooooos! I know, and I apologise, but meh. Men with tatts are hot. The geekier the tattoo, the better in my opinion. Tall. Dark hair. Stubble... ooo yes stubble. Aaaaand.....oh, they gotta smell good. Not, like bajillion dollar cologne good, just not stinky man smell.
And just because I can... I'm going to add a celebrity to my list from the previous post I talked about earlier. This man just gets better looking the older he gets.... or maybe I'm getting old? I don't know.
Leo, my heart will go on <3

Our Family
Day 10: My Family.
Only because it's much much easier I'm going to go with my immediate family - the ones I see day-to-day and make my life worth living <3
Mr Man: The best dadda and husband ever. Love.Him.To.Bits.
Miss Leah: This girl lights up my world. I can be having the shittiest day and being with her makes it all better. The older she gets the more amazing she gets, and more affectionate and loving. She's just the sweetest girl.
The Jake and the Shake: Fur babies. Shakespeare has been with me for over 10 years... I can't get rid of the little bugger <3. And Jake, well, as naughty and a stinky as he can be... we love the big softie, almost as much as he loves us.
Pepe 2.0: Vomiting on a shoulder near you in early September 2014. Things we know about baby so far: The heartbeat is outstanding, pepe likes to do the worm, Leah has decided the baby should be called 'Happy' which leads me to believe she also wants a Dopey, sleepy, grumpy.....
So that's my tribe. We're a motley bunch but we work well together. You can also see some backlinks of posts I've written about us on the 'Our Family' tab. Enjoy xox
