Things I'm loving...

The only post I feel like doing at the moment seems to be the things I'm loving.  Hopefully when I'm not nesting like an idiot (my house is sparkling by the way) and I get some me time after bubby is born (is that even possible) I will get my mojo back.  

For now, here is you're weekly installment of the things I'm loving. <3

1) My mum! Although I have been cleaning like an idiot, vacuuming just takes it out of me and kills my back.  My lovely husband has been amazing at helping me get this done but it fell on the back burner this weekend (see thing I'm loving #2).  My lovely mum offered to come and do this for me earlier this week - clean floors made that rest of the house look that much better.  Thanks Mum :).

2) Loving the first layer of 'pipi' coloured paint being on the hallway.  And LOVING the fact that by the end of this weekend it will be complete and I'll be able to put my photos back up. Thanks Mr. Man, Love you!

3) Speaking of the hall.  I love these photos that I took of Mr. Man being 'The Scary Monster' with Jake after sanding the hallway on Sunday.

4)  Cute duckie bath thermometer for bubby.

5) Loving Jake and Daddy having plays in the backyard when daddy gets home from work.  Look at this happy boy.

 6) Loving my pinterest inspired card books.  I can't throw cards from special events away.. so making them into these books makes me happy as larry!

Things I'm loving...

To begin with I must say that I apologise for my lack of posting lately. 

After a day in hospital on Saturday I've just let a few things slip in the wake of getting ready for baby (read: cleaning like an idiot and probably doing more harm to myself than good).  Note to self - must rest up!

And now for the good stuff :)

1)  Still loving that gorgeous husband of mine.  Not enjoying the back pain which has finally reared it's ugly head in Week 38 of pregnancy but having a lovely husband such as my own - once 5:30 rolls around and he's home it seems to all vanish away. <3

2)  Loving being home.  Which is amazing because I thought I was going to really dislike this week being my first off from work - nope!  It's been really good.  Plus with having to slow down a bit I have no idea how I would have done any work this week.

This also meant I've had a chance to do some things that often get put on the back burner, like scrapbooking.  Got a chance to clean out my gear and use up some bits - as you can see in the photos.  They're not the best layouts but they're cute :)

3)  Totally loving that a clean out of some stuff in the spare room meant I found these cute things that I'd made in the past.  One a mini album on the topic of my gorgeous nieces who have grown up way too fast and the other a card I made for Mr. Man in our first year of dating.

4)  Loving my new menu board for the kitchen.  Inspired by pinterest.com of course :D

5) Also still loving being 'pinspired' by recipes on my favourite site!  Tonight we're having pastry wrapped chicken stuff with cream cheese, bacon and spring onion followed by a peach cobbler. Jeez - no wonder I have a sore back, glutton for punishment!

6)  LOVING my knitting and crochet box I got at spotlights 40% off sale (Thanks to Miss Linda for asking me to go there with her - my eftpos card does not extend its thanks :P). 

Now, I don't know how to knit or crochet as yet but I have lots of tutorials up my digital sleeve and am hoping to teach myself - eeek!


With any luck I'll be back on the blogging wagon soon. Do give me a bit of leeway - I am as big as a house currently... come on Little Miss!

Things I'm Loving

1)  Love my friend and colleague Lynn who is an amazing photographer (but unfortunately doesn't rate herself highly enough!!) who took the following pics of me and Little Miss.  I love them SO much, a little bit more every time I look at them.

2)  Loving my Nana for making Kenny these super cute knitted boots.

Kenny was destroyed one morning a few months ago by a certain puppy who did not like being left to his own devices while mummy had a shower.  His leather boots were ripped to shreds and all the plastic pebbles that kept Kenny balanced were strewn across the floor.

I thought he was gone from the Southpark stuffed toy collection forever, but his new boots are great!  Doin' the trick just nicely.  Thanks Nana!

3) Still loving the iPad a little too much.  I'm an app fiend!
 My two favourites this week are battleships and sleep talker.  Sleep talker records any medium frequency sounds during the night and listening to a room full of my, Mr. Man and Jake the dog snoring is strangely entertaining.

I'm sure the novelty will wear off but for now the honeymoon lingers.

I wonder if it will be updated with all letters of the alphabet?  Perhaps watch this space?  I can't write my name yet but here are my initials!  CUTE!

5)  At 37 weeks pregnant I'm now considered 'Full Term'! And in three weeks (hopefully less) I get to meet this little poppet.  

Things I'm not particularly loving this week;

1)  Last day of work today :(

2) The hairdresser cut my hair TOO short... bummer, but getting used to it.

3) Late pregnancy pain.

Silent Sunday

 

There will be no sunsets on this gloomy day so that's a no go :( - Will put it to the end of the challenge when there are hopefully some more nice days :). And seeing I'm moving things around.  I'll do the 'me with 13 things' on Wednesday :) So.....

Day 14:  Eyes;

Things I'm loving...

1)  I adore my gorgeous husband.  Really appreciate all the little things he does for the big heffalump that is currently his wife. <3

2)  Loving the midwife I met today.  I have a team of midwives and there was 1 I hadn't met.  I LOVE her.  She even wrote Mr. Man some homework in the back of my pregnancy book.

3) Loving that this is how I'm differentiated from all my workmates.  Thanks Melanie!

4) Absolutely loving internet + credit card = food on my doorstep without me having to do much else but type in a few numbers. Very convenient when I can't be bothered making dinner.  Also loving that gorgeous husband is cooking tonight :D

5)  Loving that a boy who left my class in the middle of last year (but still has ties to the school) got this present to me today.  Which I'm told he picked out himself.  I truly am a very spoilt mumma.
